Iran is prepared to resume nuclear discussions with Washington provided that it is approached with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has declared.

Following this, European countries used their right to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran insists they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had reached a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with American involvement could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's atomic project was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. In what is characterized by Iranian officials as the conflict of recovery and reconstruction, Araghchi stated he was confident Iran's defence capabilities "are considerably enhanced than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been restored. We learned numerous insights from this engagement; we have discovered our own weaknesses and the vulnerabilities of the adversary."

He added: "We effectively endured this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they aimed to eliminate, continues to exist. The installations and machinery, if eliminated, will be restored; what is essential is the resolve of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but did not succeed to shatter. The citizens of Tehran have grown more resilient, more integrated, and more backing of the leadership and the country in the wake of this attack."
